A workflow might have dozens of inputs, but you might ask your colleagues to change only a few of them when they iterate the workflow. If you save a workflow as a template, you can select the inputs that you want your colleagues to change. When they open the template, Synthace will create a workflow from the template, then open it in a page that displays only the inputs that you selected. This makes it easier for your colleagues to iterate the workflow.
On the Simulation Details page, click the three dots, then Save as template.
The Template details form opens.
If you want to share the template with all of your colleagues, check Share with organisation.
Tip: If you only want to share the template with specific colleagues, after you save the template, click to copy a link to the template, then give the link to those colleagues.
Select the inputs that you want your colleagues to change.
Click EDIT INPUTS.
Synthace displays every element in the workflow.
If you click an element, Synthace displays the inputs to the element.
Check the box next to each input that you want your colleagues to change.
In Displayed name, specify the name that you want Synthace to display for the input.
Example: The name of the Concentration input is very generic. To make our workflow easier for our colleagues to understand, we want Synthace to display Concentration of tea as its name instead. This name is much more relevant to our workflow, which makes it easier to understand.
Click Confirm.
Select the configuration parameters that you want your colleagues to change.
Click EDIT CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS.
Synthace displays the same parameters that it displays on the Settings panel in the builder.
Check the box next to each parameter that you want your colleagues to change.
In Displayed name, specify the name that you want Synthace to display for the parameter.
Click Confirm.
Click Save.
