The Preview tab comprises a slider and a mix canvas.
The slider
Use the slider to select a mix step to preview. Above the slider, Synthace displays the current mix step and the time at which the device will execute it.
Note: This is the time from which the device starts to execute the workflow, not the time of day.
To select another mix step, click and drag the slider, or use the buttons on the side.

Synthace highlights significant mix steps in the slider.
Synthace uses yellow to highlight the mix steps during which you must change a tip box.
Synthace uses orange to highlight a mix step during which you must respond to a prompt.
It displays the prompt in the middle of the page.
If you select a well on the mix canvas, Synthace uses blue to highlight the mix steps during which the device will make a transfer from or to the well.
To select a significant mix step, click and drag the slider, or use the buttons on the side.

The mix canvas
The mix canvas displays a preview of each mix step.
If you do not select a well, Synthace displays the transfers that the device will make during the current mix step, the source of each transfer, the volume of each transfer, and the destination of each transfer.
If you hover the cursor over a well, Synthace displays the contents of the well during the current mix step.
If you select a well on an input plate, Synthace displays all of the transfers that the device will have made from the well up to the current mix step, the volume of each transfer, and the destination of each transfer.
To the right of the mix canvas, Synthace displays the contents of the well during the current mix step.
If you select a well on an output plate, Synthace displays all of the transfers that the device will have made to the well up to the current mix step, the volume of each transfer, and the source of each transfer.
To the right of the mix canvas, Synthace displays the contents of the well during the current mix step.
Highlighting Specific Liquids and Policies
Finding your liquids
Use the Search Liquid field to find specific liquids on the workflow preview. Search by the liquid name as defined in the parent workflow.
Liquid Policy information
At any time, if you hover the cursor over the volume of a transfer, Synthace displays the liquid handling policy that it will use for the transfer. Clicking on a transfer arrow in the preview will display detailed information about a specific transfer in the panel on the right-hand side of the screen.
Use Search policy to display transfers that will use a specific liquid handling policy during the current mix step.
