Aspirate Reference
Specifies where in the container aspiration will occur. Appropriate input values are well_bottom, well_top, or liquid_level. For aspiration LLD to work, liquid_level must be specified as Aspirate Reference.
Aspirate LLD
Turns on liquid level detection during aspiration. Appropriate inputs are on, off, or auto. If Synthace determines that liquid volume is too low from the input container, LLD will automatically be overridden and Syntace will instead aspirate from the bottom of the well when using auto.
Aspirate LLF
Turns on liquid level following during aspiration. Appropriate inputs are on, off, or auto. If Synthace determines that liquid volume is too low from the input container, LLF will automatically be overridden and Syntace will instead aspirate from the bottom of the well when using auto.
Dispense Reference
Specifies where in the container dispense pipetting or mixing will occur. Appropriate input values are well_bottom, well_top, or liquid_level. For dispense LLD to work, liquid_level must be specified as Dispense Reference. Note for dispense LLD to work during the execution, there must be enough liquid in the container prior to dispensing.
Dispense Offset
Specifies vertical (Z) position for dispensing. Can include both positive and negative values, upwards is always positive. Input must include unit of measurement (um, mm, m). Example inputs: -0.5 mm or 1.5 mm etc.
Dispense Wait Time
Settling time to allow before dispensing after moving to dispense position. Appropriate inputs are a length of time with a unit such as 1s or 20m.
Dispense LLD
Turns on liquid level detection during dispensing. Appropriate inputs are on, off, or auto. Note that to properly use LLD on dispensing, the container you are dispensing to must have liquid present. If Synthace determines that liquid volume is too low from the input container, LLD will automatically be overridden and Syntace will instead aspirate from the bottom of the well when using auto.
Dispense LLF
Turns on liquid level following during dispensing. Appropriate inputs are on, off, or auto. If Synthace determines that liquid volume is too low from the input container, LLD will automatically be overridden and Syntace will instead aspirate from the bottom of the well when using auto.
Pre-Mix Num Cycles
Specifies number of mixing cycles prior to aspiration. Appropriate inputs are positive integer values (0, 1, 5 etc.). Setting 0 as cycle number disables mixing.
Pre-Mix Proxy
Proxy liquid to set when mixing before aspirating. Choose one of the following that best represents the fluid mechanical properties you are working with, either Serum,, Aqueous, FastAqueous, Surfactant, Glycerol, Ethanol, DMSO.
Post-Mix Num Cycles
Specifies number of mixing cycles after dispensing. Appropriate inputs are positive integer values (0, 1, 5 etc.). Setting 0 as cycle number to disables mixing.
Post-Mix Proxy
Proxy liquid to set when mixing after dispensing. Choose one of the following that best represents the fluid mechanical properties you are working with, either Serum, Aqueous, Surfactant, Glycerol, Ethanol, DMSO.
Proxy
Proxy liquid to use for the transfer. Choose one of the following that best represents the fluid mechanical properties you are working with, either Serum, Robo, Aqueous, Surfactant, Glycerol, Ethanol, DMSO
Tip Reuse Limit
Number of times that tips will be re-used before being discarded. Clean tips will always be used when changing liquid type or if tips are contaminated by liquid handling actions. Appropriate inputs are positive integer values (0, 1, 5 etc.). Setting 0 as Tip Reuse Limit means new tips will always be used for every transfer.
Allowed Tip Types
Specifies allowed tip types for a given policy. Appropriate inputs are the name of the tip followed by the volume ( Tecan50 Tecan200 Tecan1000) and for tips in SBS format (Tecan50-SBS Tecan200-SBS Tecan1000-SBS). Multiple tip types can be specified for a given policy when separated by a column (Tecan50, Tecan200).
Multi Dispense Limit
Number of multi-dispenses that may be made. Appropriate inputs are positive integer values (0, 1, 5 etc.). Setting 0 as Multi Dispense Limit means unlimited multi dispenses. Multi dispenses are not counted as tip reuse. All transfers must have the same liquid type, and tip contaminating behaviours like post-mixing must be disabled.
Can Multi
Enables multichanneling. Appropriate inputs are true or false.
Liquid Class Override
Allows selection of a specific liquid class. Policy parameters are typically ignored when calling device specific liquid class. The liquid class must exist in EVOWare and the name must match exactly. The specified class will be used for both aspiration and dispense steps in a given liquid transfer.
Header Volume
Extra volume to aspirate from the source and discard with the tip after transferring, thus increasing the accuracy of the final dispense. If Tip reuse is enabled, it may be dispensed back to the source and re-aspirated. Appropriate inputs are volume amounts such as 30 ul, 2 ml etc. When multi dispensing, it is recommended to use a header volume.
Prewet Volume
Extra volume to aspirate from source and immediately dispense, can increase accuracy of the first dispense. Appropriate inputs are volume amounts such as 30 ul, 2 ml etc. When multi dispensing, it is recommended to use a prewet volume.
