Add or Remove Carriers, Carrier Emails, and Group Numbers

📤 Notification Method Options

Anuvi offers three ways to manage COBRA enrollments with carriers, these are selected during your onboarding:

  • Broker-Manages: Notices go to the broker, who handles carrier communication.

  • HR-Manages: The employer’s HR team manages notices directly.

  • Anuvi-Manages: Anuvi sends notices to carriers on your behalf.

Email ops@anuvi.io, and we’ll update your setup and handle any required forms (e.g., Letter of Intent).

Note: We can’t retroactively send notices from before the switch.


🔧 Carrier Settings

  • Carrier: You can change the listed carrier if needed.

  • Group Number: Enter the group number associated with COBRA enrollments. This is required for Anuvi to communicate with the carrier and can be updated anytime.

  • Enrollment Email Override:

    • Default carrier emails are listed in gray.

    • If a carrier email is incorrect or missing, enter a replacement here.

    • You can also use your own email if the carrier does not accept enrollment via email.


➕ Adding & Removing Carriers

  • Click Add Carrier to create a new entry. Once added, the carrier will be available when editing or adding plans.

  • To delete a carrier, make sure it’s not tied to any current or prior-year plans. We keep old plans for record-keeping and retroactive notice purposes, so those should remain on this list.
