What Is Required of the Group? ๐Ÿข

To stay compliant during the transition from BASIC to Anuvi, your group must complete a few key steps.

Updated over 7 months ago

1. Sign the COBRA Services Agreement โœ๏ธ

Your primary benefits contact will receive an email from Anuvi requesting an e-signature. Subject line: "Sign: Anuvi COBRA Services Agreement (TheCompany Name)"

โš ๏ธ Important: If the agreement is not signed, Anuvi cannot administer COBRA. This could put your group at risk of noncompliance once the effective date begins.

2. Sign the Third Party Authorization (TPA) Form ๐Ÿ”‘

After signing the contract, they will also need to e-sign a Third Party Authorization (TPA) form which will give Anuvi the permission to make COBRA enrollment changes with carriers on behalf of the group.

  • Onboarding: Gusto will port your groupโ€™s plans, COBRA enrollees, and data into Anuvi.

  • Offboarding: Gusto will close out your BASIC account.

  • Participant Communication: Gusto will notify participants about the transition.

โš ๏ธ After migration, we highly recommend that groups (or you) check BASIC account for any unremitted premium payments.
