Why This Matters

Permissions determine what users can see, do, and manage in ANVL.
Correct setup prevents access issues, reduces support requests, and ensures users interact only with relevant data.

How Permissions Work in ANVL

Site-Level Admins assign Product Access and Group (Site) access from the Users tab.

  • Product Access controls what a user can do (ANVL Mobile, ANVL Manager).

  • Group Access controls where they can do it (which sites or departments).

Product Access options (ANVL Mobile and ANVL Manager) on the Modify User screen. Group (Site) assignments showing which locations a user can access.

Core Product Access (What You Assign in the Users Tab)

ANVL Mobile

Used by frontline teams to:

  • Complete workflows (JSAs, LPAs, Inspections)

  • Capture photos, videos, and field data

Common users: Technicians, Operators, Field Users

ANVL Manager (ANVL Web)

Used by leaders and admins to:

  • Review submissions in the Live Feed

  • Access dashboards, analytics, and reports

Common users: Supervisors, Managers, Site-Level Admins

➡️ Users can have both ANVL Mobile and ANVL Manager access.

Group (Site) Access

All permissions are scoped by Group.
Each user must be assigned to at least one Group to see or manage data for that site.
