User Fields Reference

Reference guide to User fields visible and managed in the Admin Panel and ANVL Manager Users tab.

🎯Why It Matters

  • Some User fields are view-only

  • Others can only be edited in specific areas

  • Knowing where to view vs edit prevents failed updates and confusion


⏱️When to Use This

  • Editing user profiles

  • Performing bulk user actions

  • Troubleshooting access, hierarchy, or permission issues

  • Determining where a field can be changed


User Identifiers (View-Only)

Unique identifier for the user profile.

Supervisor Dependency Rule (Critical)

A Supervisor must belong to all Groups that their direct report belongs to.

Violations can cause inline or bulk updates to fail.


Watch Out For…

  • Roles and Special Rights are not interchangeable

  • Some fields can be viewed in multiple places but edited in only one

  • Bulk edits are full replace per field

  • Status changes apply immediately
