Primary Role: Workflow Manager
Learning Focus: Apply
Where: Workflow Editor
🧭 Before You Start
You should be working from a Draft you intend to test
The Demonstration / UAT site must already exist
Publishing to UAT does not affect production users
If you are unsure whether you should update or create a new template, pause and confirm first.
🎯 Why This Matters
Publishing to a Demonstration (UAT) site lets you validate workflow changes—questions, routing, logic, and usability—without impacting live users.
This step is strongly recommended before any production release.
🛠️ How to Publish to a Demonstration (UAT) Site
Open ANVL Insights
Navigate to Mobilize → Editor
Open Drafts in the left-hand menu
Locate the workflow draft you want to test
Click the Publish (🚀) icon next to the draft
When prompted, choose:
Update (default) to update an existing workflow
(Only choose Create Template if you intentionally want a new workflow)
Select the Demonstration / UAT site from the group list
Click Publish
✅ What You Should See After Publishing
The workflow appears under Published
It is visible when the Demonstration / UAT site is selected in the Group Selector
Production sites remain unchanged
🔍 Verify the UAT Publish
After publishing:
Refresh the browser page
Open Published
Select the Demonstration / UAT site in the Group Selector
Open the workflow
Confirm the latest changes appear
What to Do Next
After publishing to UAT:
Complete and test the workflow end-to-end
Validate routing, question behavior, and usability
Make additional edits if needed
👉 Next step: How to Test a Workflow
Only after testing passes should you publish to Production sites.
