How do I complete a workflow?

This article walks you through how to start and complete a workflow using the ANVL mobile app.

Open the ANVL app, select a workflow from your library, answer the step-by-step questions, and submit when finished. ANVL guides you through the process one question at a time.


Steps

Start a Workflow

  1. Open the ANVL mobile app or ANVL Workflows

  2. Tap Workflows or Start Workflow.

  3. Browse your organization’s workflow library.

    • Workflow visibility may vary by site or role.

  4. If needed, open Categories to view all available workflows.

  5. Select the workflow you want to complete.

  6. Tap Begin.

Frequently used workflows will appear near the top over time.

Complete the workflow

  1. Answer each question as it appears.

  2. Complete any follow-up questions shown based on your responses.

  3. Continue until you reach the final step.

  4. Submit the workflow when finished.

Use workflow features as needed

  1. Add photos or videos where supported.

  2. Use voice-to-text for longer responses if needed.

  3. Open links or reference materials shown in the workflow.

  4. Add crew members or complete the signature step if prompted.

Additional Details

  • Workflow availability may vary by site, role, or organization setup.

  • Responses are automatically time- and date-stamped.

  • Some workflows may include stop-work or supervisor notification steps when a hazard is identified.

  • To leave and return later, use Keep In Progress or Close.

  • If you started the wrong workflow, you may be able to delete it from the In Progress list.
