Open the ANVL app, select a workflow from your library, answer the step-by-step questions, and submit when finished. ANVL guides you through the process one question at a time.
Steps
Start a Workflow
Open the ANVL mobile app and sign in.
Tap Workflows or Start Workflow.
Browse your organization’s workflow library.
Workflow visibility may vary by site or role.
If needed, open Categories to view all available workflows.
Select the workflow you want to complete.
Tap Begin.
Frequently used workflows will appear near the top over time.
Complete the Workflow
Answer one question at a time.
Follow any conditional follow-up questions that appear.
Continue until you reach the final step.
Submit the workflow when complete.
All responses are automatically time- and date-stamped.
Workflow logic and content are customized to your organization.
Use Helpful Features While Working
Voice-to-Text
Tap the microphone on your keyboard to dictate responses.
Useful when wearing gloves or entering longer responses.
Photos & Videos
Add photos or videos at supported steps.
Use the annotation tool to highlight hazards or key details.
Adding photos is strongly encouraged for documentation.
Reference Content
Some steps may include:
Images or diagrams
Links (displayed in orange text)
Help text or reference materials (e.g., SDS links)
Tap orange text to open links or supporting resources.
Stop Work & Supervisor Support
If you identify a serious hazard:
Select the appropriate response (e.g., Yes – Hazard Present).
Follow prompts that may instruct you to:
Contact your supervisor
Review emergency information
Supervisors may receive real-time notifications.
You can update your response and continue once it is safe to proceed.
Add Crew Members & Sign
Add crew members if others are working with you.
Complete the e-signature at the end of the workflow.
Tip: Sign horizontally for best results.
Some workflows may prompt you to launch a related workflow after submission.
Pause, Delete, or Exit
Tap Close or Keep In Progress to pause and return later.
Swipe left from the Work screen to delete an accidentally started workflow.
Progress saves automatically unless the workflow is deleted.
Raise a Concern or Get Help
At any time, use the menu to:
Log a concern (near miss, hazard, good catch)
Flag feedback on a question
View emergency contacts
Contact your supervisor
