Files typically fail due to size limits, multi-sheet Excel formats, or unsupported structure. Reduce file size or simplify the document before uploading again.
Steps
Confirm the file type is supported (PDF, Word, simple Excel, etc.).
Check the file size.
If the file is large, reduce the size or split it into smaller sections.
If using Excel:
Avoid multi-sheet (.xlsx) files.
Move content to a single sheet if possible.
Print to PDF if issues persist
If using a scanned PDF:
Ensure the text is selectable (OCR-enabled).
Image-only scans may fail or generate incomplete questions.
Remove unnecessary images, graphics, or appendices.
Re-upload the simplified file in Mobilize → Upload File.
Wait for processing to complete before clicking Mobilize.
Helpful Tip: Reduce PDF File Size by Re-Printing
If your PDF is too large:
Open the PDF.
Select Print.
Choose Print to PDF as the printer.
Adjust settings to print multiple pages per sheet (if formatting allows).
Save the newly generated PDF.
Upload the smaller version into Mobilize.
This often significantly reduces file size without changing content.
Additional Guidance
For very large SOPs, divide the document into logical sections (e.g., “LOTO – Electrical,” “LOTO – Mechanical”).
Keep formatting clean—avoid embedded tables within tables or excessive formatting layers.
