Answer
Use Assignments in ANVL Insights to assign a workflow to one or more people. This is best for one-time assignments. If the workflow needs to be assigned on a recurring basis, use an assignment schedule instead.
If your organization has Work Folders enabled and the workflow needs to be stored in a specific folder for organization or permission purposes, that folder should be created or identified first. If you do not select a Work Folder, the system will automatically create one Work Folder per assignment.
Steps
Open ANVL Insights.
Go to Assignments.
Select Create Assignment.
Select the workflow you want to assign.
Add a Work Folder if needed.
Select the person or people who should complete the assignment.
Enter a due date if needed.
Add a message if you want to include instructions or context.
Save the assignment.
Additional Details
Assigned users receive the assignment in Frontline Operations (ANVL Workflows).
Email notifications are also sent to assigned users when the assignment is created.
If Work Folders are enabled and the assignment should be tied to a specific folder, it is recommended to create or designate the folder first and then create the assignment.
If no Work Folder is selected, the system creates a separate Work Folder for each assignment.
Use Schedules if the same workflow should be assigned repeatedly.
