Primary Role: Supervisor
Training Module: Actions & Issue Management
Why It Matters
Ensures issues raised by frontline workers are addressed and closed
Creates documented accountability for supervisors and managers
Closes the communication loop with employees
Enables real-time issue resolution to reduce risk
Supports continuous improvement through tracked insights
When to Do This
When an issue is flagged during a workflow
When reviewing open site issues in the Live Feed
When follow-up actions are assigned to you
When resolving or closing an existing action
When proactively identifying an issue on any workflow
Steps
1. Access Anvl Actions
Go to the Live Feed
Review actions by status: Open, In Review, or Closed
Select a workflow to view related actions
2. Start an Action
Within a workflow, select one of the following icons:
Stop
Intervention
Flag
An action thread opens automatically, and the action status is changed to In Review
3. Document and Collaborate
Add comments to track progress
Upload photos or documents as evidence
Use the thread to involve other employees
Important
The person who completed the workflow is not automatically added to the action
They will not see the action thread unless a user explicitly adds them
To involve the workflow submitter, you must add them to the action manually

Select Share via Email to notify users via email
5. Join an Action

You are added to the action thread and can participate
6. Respond and Collaborate from Messages

Available in:

Select the linked workflow to view context
Send responses or updates directly from the thread

7. Create Workflow-Level Actions
Raise an action on any workflow at any time
Action does not need to be tied to a flagged issue
8. Resolve the Action
Watch Out For…
Leaving actions open without documented updates
Closing actions without resolution evidence
Forgetting to add involved users to the chat
Creating duplicate actions for the same issue
Assigning actions without clear ownership
What You Should See
Actions clearly marked as Open, In Review, or Closed
Comment history showing progress and communication
Added users visible in the action thread
Closed actions displayed with a green icon
Historical action data available for trend tracking
