How Messaging Works
Messaging is accessed from:
The Orientation Screen, or
The envelope icon in the app
A supervisor must initiate the message thread
Messages are typically tied to:
A workflow
A concern or flag
A corrective action or follow-up
Once a supervisor starts a conversation, you can reply freely.
Sending & Receiving Messages
Within a message thread, you can:
Send messages (including voice-to-text)
Attach files, photos or videos
Respond in real time from the field
Messages are delivered instantly to supervisors through the Manager Dashboard.
What Messaging Is (and Isn’t)
Messaging is:
One-to-one communication
Tied to specific issues or workflows
Used for clarification, follow-up, or feedback
Messaging is not:
A group chat
A replacement for email or Teams
A general-purpose messaging app
Why Messaging Matters
Messaging helps you:
Get quick feedback from supervisors
Clarify hazards or corrective actions
Close the loop on issues raised in ANVL
Communicate without leaving the app
In Summary
