Clerks play a crucial role in the day-to-day operation of your QR payment system. Here's a streamlined guide to help clerks efficiently process payments:
Select the Appropriate QR Code
When starting their shift, clerks should first select the QR code associated with their specific checkout counter.
This ensures all transactions are properly tracked to the correct terminal.
Creating Orders
To create a new order, clerks will enter the total amount in the provided field.
They can optionally add a custom order ID or use the auto-generated one.
Orders can be created by pressing Enter after typing the amount or by clicking the "Create Order" button.
The system displays recent orders associated with this QR code below the order creation interface.
Payment Processing
After creating an order, a loading screen will appear while waiting for the customer to complete their payment.
During this time, clerks can either wait for the payment to process or cancel the order if needed.
If any issues arise, the recommended action is to cancel the current order, create a new one, and ask the customer to scan the QR code again.
Completing Transactions
Once a customer successfully pays, clerks will see a confirmation success screen.
Clerks can press Enter to return to the order creation screen and assist the next customer.
Tips for Efficient Clerk Operations
Make sure clerks know which QR code corresponds to their checkout position.
Consider labeling physical checkout stations with their corresponding QR code numbers for easy reference.
Encourage clerks to verify order amounts before creating the QR code to avoid payment errors.
If a customer is taking too long to scan and pay, clerks should be ready to cancel and create a fresh order.
