What GM Distribution does
Once you set it up as the author, GM Distribution lets the GM distribute your preconfigured content in one click, including Script, Clues, Props, and Media, and send it to all players or specific characters.
Author setup in GM Distribution (what you configure)
Use this when you want the GM to distribute content at a specific moment without manually selecting items one by one.
1) Create a “Round” for a gameplay moment
In GM Distribution, create a round (example shown: “Round I – Script Chapter One”).
Rounds are simply your distribution “packages” for that moment in the story.
2) Name the round clearly
In the Edit round panel, set:
Name (required)
Description (optional, but helpful for the GM)
Keep names action-based and time-based, e.g.:
“Round I – Script Chapter One”
“Act 2 – Public Clues”
“Act 3 – Character Secret Clue”
3) Assign content to characters (so the GM can send to the right people)
In the same round, use Add character to configure who receives what.
Then check Round Assignments Overview to confirm each character has the correct items assigned.
This is how you support both cases:
Everyone gets the same clue: assign that clue to each character for that round.
Only one character gets a secret clue: assign that clue only to that one character in that round.
GM uses it during the game (what the GM clicks)
When the game reaches that moment, the GM opens the round and uses the Distribute button shown in the round’s assignment list.
💡 Tip:
Your round naming and description are what make this “one-click” feel effortless for the GM.
GM sends the script chapter (One-click Send)
For sending the script chapter to players, the workflow described is:
After all players have chosen their characters, the GM can click [One-click Send] at the top of the Character page, then select the module “Round I – Script Chapter One.”
This instantly sends Chapter One to each player’s character profile.
⚠️ Make the timing unmissable (write it in GM Manual)
GM Distribution makes sending fast—but the GM still needs to know when to send.
In your GM Manual, add a short instruction wherever the timing matters, for example:
“Use One-click Distribution: Round II – Public Clues now.”
