Once your account has been either automatically or manually created by Applause or another "Super Admin", a welcome email will be sent to you. This will walk you through the steps to get into your account.
If for some reason, you or your team member have not received the welcome email, ask your "Super Admin" to resend you the invite.
Quick Note: If you are an admin, you also have the ability to download the mobile app and will have access to your personal digital wallet. To access the mobile app, follow this article.
Here are the following steps you will take to get into the Admin Portal, if you have previously accepted an invite to Applause with a specific email.
If your email address has been updated, you will need to use the updated email to log in. Ensure that you follow the password reset process if you cannot remember your password.
Click on "Forgot Password"
Enter the email address where you received your welcome email
Type in a secure password
Click login
Follow the prompts in your email to confirm your password change
If you run into an error or don't receive a password reset email, you are using an email that is not set up with an Applause account and either you have not yet accepted your invite and/or need a new one, or you are using an email that is different from the email that is tied to your Applause account. If your email address has been updated, ensure you are using the updated email to log in. Follow the password reset process if needed, and contact support if issues persist.
Special Cases: Matching Emails with Other Systems
In some cases, you may need to update your ApplauseHQ login email to match the email used in another system, such as FieldRoutes. This is particularly useful if the original email tied to your ApplauseHQ account is no longer accessible. To address this:
Update the ApplauseHQ login email to match the email used in the other system.
Follow the password reset process outlined above if you cannot remember your password.
Log in using the updated email and password.
