For your pilot, your Applause account manager will help provide direction and best practices for your Leads pilot in order to see a good conversation rate based on your current settings & offerings you will utilize with Leads.
Regardless of if you are piloting leads or not, the frequency and turning Leads on must be enabled by the Applause team. For guidance on enabling or customizing NPS fields, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
What:
Leads is an Applause feature that can be utilized in the landing page experience to generate a lead for additional services or to promote a specific offering to your customers.
It is a different "mode" other than a tip ask after a high enough NPS score is left. Your "offer" displaying depends on what your minimum rating to trigger this feedback flow is with your "NPS positive rating" setting.
Some examples:
Admin Access to Lead Settings
Not all admins may have access to modify Settings for Leads. If you find that you cannot view or change these settings, it’s likely because your user permissions are limited.
To gain access:
Reach out to your organization’s Super Admins.
Request that they grant you the necessary permissions for Review Settings.
Once access is granted, you will be able to view and manage these settings within the admin portal.
How to access Leads in your Admin Portal?
In your Admin Portal, navigate to Leads, then select Settings.
This is where you’ll create your catalog of products along with their corresponding service codes.
Click the "+ Add service" button at the bottom of the page. This will open a window where you can fill in the following fields: Label, Service code, and Icon
Label – The name of your offering, used simply to help you identify and select it within your location settings.
Service code – These codes are gathered from your CRM and act as exclusions, meaning they specify which services should be excluded from a particular lead offering.
Icon – Select a preset logo from Applause that best represents the service you’re offering.
Home -> Locations -> {select location} -> Leads
The "Lead" offering is fully customizable and configured individually at the location level. This means you can tailor it specifically for each of your "branches", and determining the frequency at which messages are enabled to receive leads based on your needs. This allows for precise control over how often leads requests are sent. These specific frequency settings will be guided by your Applause rep.

6. Check "Make active" to activate lead offering.
7. Be sure to save it after making your changes to ensure everything is applied correctly.
Prioritize your Leads
Simply drag the lead you want to prioritize to the top of the table so the system displays it to customers when they’re eligible.
Keep in mind that any leads marked as “inactive” won’t be shown to customers, no matter where they appear in the list.
