Private jobs aren't created too commonly in Apploi, but it's a nice feature to use if you need a candidate to apply to a job without it being open to the public. For example, if you're hiring internally or using a head hunter to fill a position, you may want to make that job private.

To make a job private, use the checkboxes to the left-hand side of the Jobs page and either select individual or multiple jobs. Click the lock icon that appears up top to make that job private. On the pop up that appears click Yes, Make Private to prompt these changes.

After the job has been made private, click on the globe icon under the Actions column to publish the job. Click Yes, Publish when prompted.

To send a candidate the link to apply to your private job, click the Preview this Position icon which can be found by clicking the 3 dots next to the job.

The application will open in a separate window. Click the white icon on the top right corner of the page to share the job application.

Once the pop-up window appears, click the copy icon, and send the link to the job application directly to the candidate via email or text message in Apploi.

If you would like to make a job public again, follow the same steps as above, and select the same lock icon.
