By default, we install Appstle Subscriptions on live themes only. Sometimes however, your current theme might not be suitable for your store's needs or fit with its visuals/aesthetics, and you might prefer to install Appstle Subscriptions on a currently in development or unpublished theme. You may also wish to make modifications to your dev or unpublished theme and preview the result before publishing the changes to the live store.

In such situations, here is how you can you can install/move our app to an unpublished or dev theme,

Step 1: Login to your Shopify Admin panel

Step 2: Navigate to Online Store > Themes.

Step 3: Click on the ellipses (three dots) button on your Live theme and select Edit Code from the drop down.

Step 4: Now, in your liquid search bar, search for 'Appstle', and the files associated with Appstle Subscriptions should appear.

Step 5: Once you have the files searched, open them in a new tab and copy the contents with the same file name [ensure the names are not modified], and under the same sections [Snippets and Assets], to your unpublished theme.

Step 6: Once you have moved the above-highlighted files to your unpublished theme, open theme.liquid file in the unpublished theme and paste the Script tag mentioned below on top of the body tag, as shown in the image below.
