Bundles - How to Configure A Volume Discount

This article covers how to configure volume discounts.

Updated yesterday

The Volume Discount feature allows you to create a tiered pricing system for your products — giving customers increasing discounts when they purchase larger quantities or reach certain spending thresholds.

This helps boost your average order value (AOV) and encourages bulk purchasing.

⚠️ Important Note: The Bundle App seamlessly integrates with Appstle Subscriptions. Enabling the subscription option also activates the volume discount features/bundles for the customer.

Step 1: Create a New Bundle & Select Bundle Type

  1. Go to the Discounted Pricing section in your dashboard.

  2. Click ➕ Create Bundle.

  3. From the available options, select Volume Discount.

Step 2: Add Bundle Details

  • Title: Give your bundle a clear, descriptive name.

  • Description (optional): Add a short explanation highlighting the offer.

💡 Tip: Use engaging titles like “Buy More, Save More” or “Tiered Discount Offer”.

Step 3: Add Products or Variants

  • Select the products or variants to include in this discount under Product Variants.

Step 4: Set Tiered Discount Structure

  • Define discount levels based on quantity or total spend.

Example:

  • Buy 1 → standard price

  • Buy 2 → 15% off

  • So on..

Advanced Tip: Use these features to improve conversions and guide customers toward preferred options.

  • Default Selected Option: Choose which purchase pack is selected by default for the customer.

  • Badge Option: Highlight your bundle with a badge such as “Most Popular” or a custom message to attract attention.

Step 5: Select Purchase Type

  • Decide how customers can purchase the bundle:

    • One-time purchase

    • Subscription purchase

    • Both

Success! Your Volume Discount bundle is now ready to attract more sales.

🧱 Activating the Volume Discount Block

Follow these steps in order:

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes.

  2. Click Customise on your active theme.

  3. From the top-middle dropdown, select the Default Product Page.

  4. Click the position on the page where you want the Volume Discount Block to appear.

  5. Click Save in the theme editor.

⚠️ Note: Failing to save both in the theme editor and in the Volume Discount configuration page may prevent the discount block from appearing on your storefront.
