What information do we collect?
Name and email:
We ask for your name and email address. This minimal data allows us to:
Provide customer support:
Our Artega team uses this information to assist with any purchase-related queries and to send you important notifications.
Deliver your public keys:
We email you your public keys [glossary?], which you can use to view your artwork on the blockchain
Send calendar confirmations:
This helps keep your purchase details and your scheduled “Meet the Artist” sessions up to date, which you will later be able to edit and cancel.
Inform the artist:
Your chosen artist will see this information to track who is purchasing their art. If they have enabled the Meet the Artist feature, your details will be added to their diary.
Note:
Artega is not a payment processor. You can use your online handle as your name—it does not have to match the name on your payment card since we outsource payment processing to a trusted provider.
You are also not creating an account with us when you pay for NFTs or edit your event. You are using our website in guest-mode.
Confirming your artwork
Before proceeding, please review the artwork details on this page:
Artwork name and image:
Ensure that the artwork’s name and image match your expectations. This information will be used to generate a unique NFT based on the metadata you see here.
Add notes for the artist:
If the artist has offered to meet you or if you have any special instructions or questions, feel free to add a note in the provided section.
Once you have confirmed that all the details are correct, click Confirm. This will take you to Step 3, where you’ll review and confirm the price for your unique creation.
