We're registered with the ICO – here's what this means for you

Updated over 2 months ago

We’re pleased to share that we're officially registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) – the UK’s independent authority on data protection. This is part of our broader commitment to handling your personal data transparently, securely, and in full compliance with GDPR.

We’re GDPR-compliant (and so is Wert)

Being GDPR-compliant means we follow strict legal standards under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 to ensure your personal information is:

  • Collected and used lawfully, fairly, and transparently

  • Only kept for as long as necessary

  • Stored securely and protected from misuse

We also work with trusted partners who meet these same standards.

About Wert (our payment processor)

To process crypto and fiat payments securely, we use Wert, a trusted third-party payment gateway. Wert is also:

  • GDPR-compliant, protecting your personal and transaction data

  • Regulated in the United States for financial compliance

  • Licensed in Estonia under EU digital asset and payment service regulations

This means your payment data is handled with the highest levels of security and compliance, both in the UK and internationally.

What data do we collect?

We only collect the data we need to deliver and improve our services. This may include:

  • Your name, email, and profile info

  • Transaction data like wallet addresses or order history

  • Usage data (how you interact with the site)

  • Optional preferences you’ve shared with us

Your GDPR rights

As a user, you have important rights under GDPR, including:

  • The right to access your data

  • The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data

  • The right to erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)

  • The right to restrict or object to certain types of processing
