What to do if you’ve shared a meeting link you no longer want someone to use

Updated over a week ago

If you’ve shared an online meeting link with a patron and no longer want that person to have access, the best solution is to change the URL.

Even if the diary is hidden from your profile, anyone with the original link can still view it. Updating the link ensures they can no longer access the meeting.

How to change the meeting link

  1. Go to your Artega dashboard.

  2. Select the artwork with the link you’ve shared with the patron.

  3. In the artwork settings, find the URL field.

  4. Change the current URL.

  5. Click Save in the top right corner.

Once you save the changes, the previous link will no longer work. Only people with the new URL will be able to access the meeting.

A few extra tips

  • Share the new link directly with the patrons you’d like to meet.

  • You can change the link as often as needed.

  • For more control, avoid using the same link across multiple artworks or patrons.
