Split is a 3D editing tool that gives flexibility and precision when refining exterior designs. It allows you to divide a wall or trim into multiple segments, creating separate design areas such as horizontal trim, accent panels, or material transitions. You can split as many times as needed.
How to Add a Split to a Wall
Select Split from the action bar
Deselect any active walls if needed, then enter Split Mode
Select a wall to split, and click Next
Use the adjustment bar to precisely define your split height or location
Click Apply to create a new facet. Your wall is now divided into two segments
Repeat as needed
How to Add a Split to Trim
Deselect any active trims if needed, then enter Split Mode
Select a trim to split, and click Next
Use the adjustment bar or measurement input to precisely define your split height or location
Click Apply. Your trim is now divided into two segments.
