There are two ways to create new artists:
You can add a new artist directly from your “Artists” tab; you will be able to click on “New Artist” in the top on the right.
Alternatively, simply go to your account and click on the “Artworks” tab, then on “New artwork”; the first step will be to enter the artist’s name.
In both cases, the system will be the same; you will be asked to provide the name of the artist. You will then be able to click on the artist’s name if it appears in the list below.
If the artist does not exist on Artsper, the following message will appear: “No artist found. Click here to create a new artist”. Click on the message and you will be redirected to a page allowing you to create an artist’s profile.
To create the artist’s profile, you will need to provide the artist’s name and surname. If the artist only has a pseudonym, enter it in the “last name” field.
Special characters and certain letters with accents are not supported in the first name and last name fields.
