Creating a AssetMark Charitable Profile
To create a new AssetMark Charitable profile, contact your advisor to request an invitation to sign up.
You will receive an email with the subject line “<Advisor Name> has invited you to the AssetMark Charitable Giving Platform"
Click Get Started to launch the Set Password window. Ensure your password meets all the requirements (see below) and check the "I agree to the platform Terms and Conditions and the AssetMark Charitable DAF Program Guidelines."
Password Requirements:
Minimum of 12 characters
At least 1 UPPERCASE letter (A-Z)
At least 1 Special Character (!@#$%^&*)
At least 1 Number
Ensure the passwords match (as shown above)
Next confirm your birthdate and zipcode.
Once you've set your password, you'll be redirected to the login page. Use the email address to which the originating invite was sent and your newly created password to sign in.
Within the first screen upon logging in, you will be prompted with the following question:
“What causes do you want to support?”
Here, you can select the causes that matter most to you. This helps the platform tailor recommendations and suggest charities aligned with your interests.
Once you have made your selections, click "Looks good" to continue.
Lastly, enter your Donor-Advisor Fund account details:
Confirm your custodial selection
Create a name for your DAF
There are no restrictions to the DAF naming convention. Many users opt for things like "The Jones Family Giving Fund", for example.
Enter your First & Last Name, Email, Phone, & Full Address
Congrats! Upon clicking Create DAF you are all set up with your new AssetMark Charitable DAF!
Editing Personal Information
To edit or update your personal information, such as your name, mailing address, picture, or phone number, click on the icon in the bottom left corner:
Here you will be able to upload/edit a photo, edit your first/last name, or update your phone number
