Regular and frequent updates are a great way to keep stakeholders in the loop, get early feedback, and broadcast your progress. But what if you don't want to go to another tool to write your updates? What if you'd like to communicate from where you work?

Atlas supports posting updates from:

This article will walk you through posting updates from Microsoft Teams.

How to post updates from Microsoft Teams

First, make sure you have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your Microsoft Teams workspace. You can get the app for here on the Microsoft Teams app marketplace or learn more about the app here: How to use Atlas with Microsoft Teams

At this point you should also have an Atlas project you'd like to updates. Note that to post updates you'll need to either be an owner or a contributor on the project.

At the moment you can only post updates from update reminders. If you are an owner of a project you will receive weekly reminders on Friday morning at 8AM.

Each reminder will have a Write update button next to it.

Click on the button and the Atlas update composer will appear. From here just write you update as usual. When ready click submit and you're done!

You can view the new update in Atlas, Slack, and Microsoft Teams (if you linked the Atlas project to a channel).
