Share dashboards, or individual cards, with your team or the public in a variety of ways.

👍 This article will help you:

  • Learn how to quickly set up scheduled emails

  • Provide public links to your dashboards, or embed your cards in an external website

  • Download snapshots of your data directly from cards

To access Dashboards, go to Dashboards on the left side menu, or Apps > Dashboards.

337

Email a dashboard on demand or on a schedule

To send an on-demand email, or to schedule an email for delivery, select Actions > Email dashboard.

1128

In the Schedule email window, you can configure:

Field

Instructions

Subject

Enter a subject line for the email message.

Attachment type

Select the format in which the dashboard will be delivered as an email attachment: 'Link only', 'PDF and link', 'Image and link', or 'CSV and link'. If 'CSV and link' is selected, the attachment will consist of one CSV file per card.

Recipients

Select a recipient(s) from the list of existing Atrius users.

Frequency

Select whether the email should be delivered immediately ('Once') or on a recurring basis ('Daily', 'Weekly', or 'Monthly'), then select the day of week, time of day, and time zone.

When an email has been scheduled for daily, weekly, or monthly delivery, a record of the recurring email is stored in Apps > Scheduled Emails.

337

Here, each scheduled email may be configured or temporarily disabled. You may also send it on demand ('Send now'), or enlist yourself as a recipient ('Subscribe').

Administrative users can edit scheduled emails set up by any user within their organization, while non-administrative users can only edit scheduled emails they had created themselves. Any user can still remove themselves as an email recipient by selecting 'Unsubscribe'.

📘 Calendar views, rolling views, and custom periods in scheduled emails

For scheduled emails, it is generally best to use standard calendar views and rolling views when specifying each card's time period, like 'Yesterday', 'Last month', and 'This year'. Individual year periods and custom periods do not dynamically update, resulting in dashboards that are "fixed" in time.

Embed a link to a dashboard

To acquire a publicly accessible link to a dashboard, select Actions > Dashboard settings. Set Public dashboard visibility to 'Enabled', then copy the Public dashboard direct link provided below. Select 'Save' when finished. Anyone with this link can now access the dashboard, even if they are not Atrius users.

Every dashboard's public visibility is set to 'Disabled' by default.

568

To edit these settings for multiple dashboards at once, go to the main Dashboards page and select one or more dashboards using the checkboxes on the left side of the table.

Then, go to Actions > Set view/edit access or Set public dashboard visibility.

Embed a link to a card

To share an individual card, hover over the card, open the dropdown menu at the top right, and select 'Share card'.

1538

Set the card's public visibility to 'Enabled', then copy either the embed code or the direct link provided below. Select 'Save' when finished.

The card's embed code option allows you to embed a fully interactive version of the card into another webpage. Modify the width and height parameters of the embed code as needed.

📘 Data security in public dashboards and cards

Public dashboards and cards have "obfuscated" URLs, meaning that they are unguessable and contain a string of random numbers and letters. This URL is different from the URL you see while navigating Atrius as a logged-in user.

When a public URL is accessed, the Atrius API checks to ensure that the dashboard and its cards are set for public distribution, permitting anonymous access to the data.

Download a dashboard or card

To download a dashboard, select Actions and one of 3 options: 'Download image', 'Download PDF', or 'Download CSV'. If CSV is selected, the downloaded ZIP file will consist of one CSV file per card.

1612

To download an individual card, hover over the card, open the dropdown menu at top right, and select one of the 3 same options.
