When you begin creating your survey, you'll be presented with the choice to Add question or choose from your library. When you choose to add a question you’ll see this card:

You have 6 question types to choose from: single choice, multiple choice, ranked, grid, NPS & open text. You can read more about the different question types here. Next to that you can also add a message card or a group of questions.

Once you've selected a question type, you can write your questions and input your answer options (if relevant).

You can also choose to add questions from your library. In this article we'll explain how you can add questions to your team's library.

Alternatively, you can also choose to paste survey content in bulk. This allows you to quickly import your survey content from a different tool such as Word. You can read more about this option here.

If you want to add a question or text to the middle of your survey, click + Question at the end of your survey. On the left hand side overview, you'll see all your questions and you can just drag and drop the card to wherever you need it on your survey.

In Map view, you can add a question by hovering over an empty space and clicking on + Question.

Once you have written your question and picked an answer type, you can change the answer type at any point before purchasing the survey. To change the question type, simply click Change next to the existing question type in the top left corner of the card. You won’t have to write your question or answers again, they will be preserved in the new question type.
