Why aren’t my justification and hyphenation settings showing up in the ePub?

While recommendations for justification and hyphens are included in the ePub file, these are only used on devices that do not allow the reader to control these settings. Many retailers and reading devices or apps will simply ignore these settings because they are designed to allow readers to personalize their reading experience.
