Here's a quick refresher on how to complete and manage your worker's compensation appointments on the Avaana platform.
1. Mark booking attendance
To mark a patient as attended and proceed with follow-up actions:
Navigate to the Bookings section
Click on the relevant booking
Select Attended
This will update the booking options to include:
Add Case Note
Create Subsequent Booking
2. Add case notes
Click on Add Case Note first and add relevant case notes. Once you click Continue, you’ll be prompted to add a Subsequent booking.
To schedule multiple subsequent bookings:
Return to the Bookings section
Click Add Booking in the top right corner to schedule further appointments
If you select Create Subsequent Booking before adding a case note against the booking, you will only be able to create one subsequent booking for the patient.
3. View invoices
Invoices for completed bookings can be viewed in the Payments and Transfers section.
4. Submitting a new AHTR Form and Cost Recovery
The patient has been pre-approved for 8 sessions. Please ensure that if a new AHTR is needed, it is submitted by the 6th session to allow sufficient time for review and approval of any further sessions.
To submit the AHTR:
Go to the Client List section and locate patient
Select Submit AHTR
Fill the form and submit
To submit Cost recovery:
Go to the Client List section and locate patient
Select Submit Cost Recovery
