You might be wondering why some of your clients or team members' responses are not showing up as task comments. What can be the possible reasons?
The user is not an active member of the project
The user may not be an active member of the respective project and consequently, the task.
β
You can verify this by going to Project Settings > Project Members. The user doesn't have the "Comment" task permission on the project
If the contact is added as a project member, they still might not have all the permissions required to interact with the Avaza task. As seen in the image below, these are the task permissions that you can allow your project members to have: Create a task, Update a task, Delete a task and then Comment on a task.
Make sure the user in question has Comment permission checked.
βThe user doesn't have the required project collaborator role
You may not have given this user project collaboration ability. You can verify this by opening their contact card by going to Contacts > External Contacts > Contact Card and then verifying if the 'Project Collaborator' role has been enabled.
