This guide covers how to run and download both Smart Reports and Static Reports. If you haven't built a Smart Report yet, start with the Building Smart Reports article.
Smart vs. Static reports. Both live under Reports > Smart Reports, but you run them from different places:
Smart Reports are reports you build, customize, and save. You run a saved one from the Saved Reports tab.
Static Reports are predefined reports with fixed columns. You run them from the Build Report tab, under Static Reports.
Run a Smart Report
1. Go to Reports > Smart Reports. The page opens on the Saved Reports tab, where you can run any report you've previously saved.
2. Click a saved report to expand it, check the Columns list to confirm it matches the data you need, then click Run Report.
3. The Report Preview opens. Click the Download icon in the bottom left.
4. A progress message appears, and you'll get a confirmation email with a link to the report – so you don't have to wait on this page. To grab it now, click View Library.
Prefer not to wait on this page? That confirmation email includes a direct download link, so you can pull the report straight from your inbox.
5. You'll land on the History tab. Once the report's status shows Complete, click the Download icon in the Actions column to save it.
Run a Static Report
1. Go to Reports > Smart Reports, then open the Build Report tab.
2. Under Select Report Type, choose Static Reports, then pick a report from the Select a report dropdown.
3. Set any required filters – marked with an asterisk (*), such as Award Cycle – then click Next. Some Static Reports require no filters; others require a cycle or more.
4. Click Download.
5. As with Smart Reports, a progress message appears, and you'll get a confirmation email. Click View Library to go to the History tab and download once the status shows Complete.
