Auto-apply automatically applies qualified applicants to scholarships without additional requirements. This feature is turned on by default and can be found under the Settings tab in the main navigation menu, under the Scholarships subtab.
Example: Five scholarships are available in this award cycle. The only requirement for all five scholarships is a 2.0 GPA. However, the Dell Scholarship also requires applicants to state which Dell laptop they would like to receive if awarded. If an applicant reports a GPA of 2.0 or higher, they qualify for all scholarships. After submitting the application, the applicant will automatically be applied for all scholarships (which they can view under their Scholarships tab), except the Dell scholarship. This is how the auto-apply feature works.
If you would like to hide auto-applied scholarships from the dashboard, you may enable Hide Auto-Applied Scholarships from Student view. To do so, head to Settings > Scholarships > Public Settings.
What happens to the Dell Scholarship? It will appear in the pending requirements section of the applicant’s dashboard with an Apply button.
After the applicant clicks Apply and completes the additional requirements, they will be prompted to submit their Dell Scholarship application.
Upon clicking Submit Application, the applicant will see confirmation that the application was submitted.
