What’s New in AwardSpring

We’re excited to introduce a new set of features designed to give you a more complete and connected view of your scholarship programs - from how funds are managed to how applicants progress and how donors stay engaged. With improved visibility into contributions, spending, and balances, you can better understand how resources flow through your programs and make more informed financial decisions.

We’ve also focused on simplifying everyday workflows. Whether you’re reviewing applicants, generating insights like SpringIQ scores, tracking application activity, or managing donor relationships, it’s now easier to access key information and take action in fewer steps. Together, these updates help you run your programs more smoothly, with greater clarity, and stronger data support.

#1: Funds: A New Way to Manage Scholarship Finances

Scholarship programs aren’t just about selecting recipients - they’re about managing resources responsibly.

With Funds, you now have a dedicated financial layer to organize and track scholarship money with clarity. Each fund acts as a centralized pool that supports one or more scholarships across cycles, with its own page, balance, and transaction history.

Funds allow you to track contributions such as donations and transfers, monitor spending through awarded scholarships, and maintain a real-time balance of available resources. This structure improves financial transparency, supports better forecasting and planning, and enables more accurate reporting for donors and administrators. You can opt-in to this feature by reaching out to our support team.

#2: Table Questions: Structured Data Collection Made Easy

Collect more detailed applicant information with Table Questions, a flexible question type that allows applicants to enter multiple rows of structured data. Setup is simple: define your question, add your columns, and you’re all set!

#3: On-Demand SpringIQ: Summary & Score

You can now generate SpringIQ Summary and Score for individual students whenever you need it. If a score hasn’t been assigned yet, simply click “Generate” and our SpringIQ will take care of it in seconds - helping you make award decisions with greater confidence and stronger data support.

#5: Donor List Enhancements: More Data, Less Clicking

We’ve enhanced the Donor List to provide a more flexible and data-rich experience. You can now display additional donor information such as phone, stage, and professional details directly in the table.

In addition, activities can be logged without leaving the page - simply hover over a donor’s name and click “+ Add activity” to quickly capture interactions in place
