Update your contact information, create a portfolio, and more

To get started with AWEbase, all you need is an e-mail address and a password. But once you’re settled in, you should update your account to ensure accurate payment information and to showcase your best work. (Clients often need your name and address in order to create work contracts and issue you payments.)

Note: Organizations can't see your contact information or portfolio until you connect with them.

Edit your profile

  1. Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen, then click the “Your Profile” option to bring up the “Profile” window.

  2. Click the “Edit” button to update your profile image, banner image, name, and contact information, including your portfolio website. (Note: Make sure your name and contact information is correct, because this is what your clients will use when paying you.)

  3. To update your e-mail address, click the “Update Email”button, then enter your new e-mail address into the pop-up window. (Note that this will send a confirmation message to your current e-mail address.)

  4. Select the "Notifications Settings" tab to set how you want to receive e-mail notifications from AWEbase.

  5. Toggle "Summary Email" on in order to receive a regular email listing all your unread notifications.

  6. By default, you will receive notifications by e-mail when a client replies to your comment on a JobOpp Inquiry, adds a reference file to your Deliverable, or makes any other changes listed on this tab. You may personalize which notifications you receive by e-mail by toggling them on or off. (Note: Even if you turn off e-mail notifications, you will still receive notifications on the top right of the screen, next to your you name.)

Set up your Portfolio

  1. Go to the Portfolio screen.

  2. Click the “Upload File” button to open the “Upload Asset” pop-up.

  3. Choose a file from your computer that you want to share with potential clients.

  4. Fill in the name and description fields. (Note: These are both visible to potential clients.)

  5. Click the “Add File” button to upload the file and close the pop-up.

  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you have uploaded all the portfolio files you wish.
