Although the tech pack generation feature works differently between products and components, after creating a Component Tech Pack, you still have the ability to attach/include files from the Files section.
Generate your component tech pack according to your preference
Enter the tech pack section of your component
Click on the email icon
In the modal that pops up you have the option to include files with your message. Toggle the checkbox for everything you want to include and voila.
Just make sure that your files have already been added to the file section of the component you wish to share.
