Creating a Listing
In Baluu, a listing is what you’re selling — a class, course, appointment, or event.
When you create a listing, the main thing to decide is how sessions are booked. There are two simple options.
You set the dates and times
This option is best when you already know when sessions will happen and customers choose from those dates.
Regular dates are ideal for one-off sessions.
For example, a yoga class on 15 January at 10am with 15 spaces available. You create one session, and customers book until all spots are filled. This works well for single classes, workshops, or one-time events.

Terms or courses are designed for multi-session programmes.
For example, an 8-week Spring term running every Tuesday and Thursday with 10 total places. Customers book the full course rather than individual sessions.
With terms, you can also offer trials or drop-ins, and enable Pro Term.
Pro Term allows customers to join after the course has started and pay only for the remaining sessions. If Pro Term is not enabled, the listing disappears once the term begins.
With trial tickets, you can:
Limit how many times the same customer can book
Choose which sessions they can attend (all future sessions, the next session only, the next two sessions, or the next three sessions)
With drop-in tickets, customers can book any available individual session within the term.

The customer chooses the date and time
This option works best when you want customers to book based on your availability.
This is done using appointments, which are ideal for 1-to-1 or private bookings. You set your available days and times — for example, Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm — and customers book directly into your calendar.
You can also set a minimum and maximum number of attendees. For example, if the minimum is 5 people, the customer booking must pay for at least 5 spots. This makes appointments suitable for private group sessions as well.
Appointments are commonly used for services like coaching, massages, beauty treatments, dog walking, or private group bookings.

More booking options will be added in the future.
