4. A new window will open with a event edit form and it will allow you to change the start time, end time and location of this event. You will be able to write an explanation which the customer will receive along with the email which lets them know of the urgent changes made to their booking.
Please be aware that by editing the time or location of this event, you are changing material details of the contract you have with the attendee. Therefore, attendees have the right to request a full refund if they are unable to make the new time or location.
Changing the Date of a Event
You will not be able to change the date of an event. To process this, you must cancel the event affected. This sends an urgent email to the customer(s) straight away so they are notified as soon as possible. If you email us first, the response time could lead to issues with customers.
Before cancelling, make sure to add the new dates to ensure these will be included in the cancellation email received by customers, and they can directly reschedule using our links in the email provided (there is no need for you to include a link to your event). If there are multiple dates which need to be cancelled, make sure you mark each one as full. This is to make sure customers don't reschedule onto these.
