Who this is for: Any Barti user experiencing audio lag, dropped calls, or message delays — or anyone setting up Barti VoIP for the first time who wants to verify their network is ready.
Before you start, you'll need:
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (required for accurate results)
Access to the computer where you're experiencing issues
Steps
On the computer where you're experiencing issues, open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Go to networktest.twilio.com. The test starts automatically.
Wait for all sections to finish — each will show a Complete status when done. The test checks:
UDP Connectivity — required for voice calls to work
Bandwidth — confirms your connection can handle call data
Frame Loss / Latency — checks for jitter that causes choppy audio
Before taking a screenshot, switch your browser to Light Mode so the results are legible for the support team.
Take a screenshot of the full results page.
Send the screenshot — or the Log output from the results page — to your Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager.
What you'll see when it works
All sections show a green checkmark and Complete status. This confirms your network meets the requirements for Barti VoIP and texting.
Troubleshooting
One or more sections show a red X or Failed status.
A failure in the UDP or Voice sections usually means your office firewall is blocking ports that Barti needs to communicate with Twilio. Share the test results with your Customer Success Manager — they'll provide your IT team with the specific ports and addresses to whitelist.
The test won't load or doesn't start automatically.
Confirm you're using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Other browsers may not run the test correctly. If the page loads but the test doesn't start, try a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).
Should I run the test on every computer in the office?
Run it first on the computer where issues are most noticeable. If results look fine there but problems persist on other machines, run the test on those as well and share all results with your Customer Success Manager.
