To view invoice details, click on an invoice in the report to open it.
To export and analyze the data further, download the report as a CSV.
What you'll see when it works
The report displays payments received, broken down by staff member. All amounts reflect cash collected — not charges billed.
The report filters by the timestamp when a payment is allocated to a specific charge line (not the payment date itself), which means totals may differ slightly from the Payment Method Report for the same period.
This report does not include a Revenue Type column (Exams / Materials). If you need to identify exam vs. materials payments within this report, you'll need to interpret the billing descriptions or procedure codes: V-codes (e.g., V2781) indicate materials; CPT codes (e.g., 92004) indicate exams.
Troubleshooting
Why does the Payment by Staff total differ from the Payment Method Report for the same date range?
Both reports measure payments, but use different timestamps. Payment Method uses the payment date; Payment by Staff uses the timestamp when a payment is allocated to a specific charge line. Small differences between these two totals are expected.
A staff member isn't showing up in the report. What should I check?
Confirm that the staff member is active in Barti and that payments have been allocated to their charge lines within the selected date range. If the staff member was recently added, check that their profile is correctly configured.
Can I see a breakdown of exam vs. materials payments for each staff member?
Not directly from this report. The Production Report provides an exam vs. materials breakdown by Revenue Type, but it tracks charges — not payments. See What does each Barti report measure? for guidance on which report to use for each question.
