How do I view incoming faxes in My Intake?

Log in at kno2.prod.barti.com and click My Intake in the left navigation. Your assigned faxes appear there for review and processing.

Who this is for: All Barti users assigned to at least one Intake Rule. If your Intake is empty, ask your admin to add you to an Intake Rule — see How do I set up email notifications for new faxes?.

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A Kno2 account

  • Assignment to at least one Intake Rule (configured by your admin)


Steps

  1. Click My Intake in the left navigation menu. Use the status filter to control which messages appear: In Progress, Processed, or All.

  2. From your Intake, you can quickly preview an attachment by hovering over the attachment icon on the left and clicking the attachment link from the list that appears. You can also take the following actions on any message:

    • Download — open the item and click the grey download icon in the toolbar.

    • Forward — open the item, click Forward, enter the recipient's fax number or Direct address, and click Send.

    • Mark as Processed — click the blue Mark as Processed drop-down in the top right when you're done with the item.


What you'll see when it works

My Intake displays all fax messages and documents assigned to you, including uploaded batches and messages from Triage. You can view messages by rule or filter by status (for example, In Progress).


Troubleshooting

My Intake is empty but I know faxes have come in.

You'll only see faxes assigned to you through an Intake Rule. If your inbox is empty, ask your admin to add you to the appropriate rule — see How do I set up email notifications for new faxes? (Intake Rules).

I'm not getting email notifications about new faxes.

Non-admin users don't receive email notifications by default. Your admin needs to add you to an Intake Rule. See How do I set up email notifications for new faxes? (Intake Rules).
