Who this is for: Kno2 administrators only.
Before you start, you'll need:
Admin access to your Kno2 organization
How to get there
Log in at kno2.prod.barti.com as an administrator.
Click the gear icon to open Settings.
Select Organization.
The Organization settings page is divided into several sections, each covered below.
Settings
Session Timeout
Controls how long Kno2 waits before logging out an inactive user. The default is 10 minutes. You can set it to any value between 1 and 20 minutes. Changes take effect after you click Save Changes and sign out.
Process Structured CDAs on Intake
Only relevant if your organization has an API integration with Kno2. When enabled, structured CDA documents received in Intake are automatically downloaded and marked as processed according to your intake download settings. If disabled, users process structured CDAs manually from My Intake.
Require Two-Factor Authentication
When enabled, all users in your organization must set up a second authentication method on their next login. Users will be prompted to choose a multifactor method and will need both their password and a security code to sign in going forward.
Suppress Default Fax Cover Sheet
When enabled, Kno2's default cover sheet is not sent with outgoing faxes. If your organization uses its own cover sheet, enable this setting and add your cover sheet as the first attachment of each fax. When disabled, the Kno2 default cover sheet is included automatically.
Suppress Default Metadata Pages
When enabled, the metadata pages (message body/comments and attachment descriptions) are not sent with outgoing faxes. When disabled, these pages are included automatically.
Delete .xsl Attachments Upon Receipt
When enabled, .xsl attachments are automatically deleted from incoming clinical messages upon receipt, leaving only the clinical documents. See [VERIFY: Link to the "Delete .xsl Attachments Upon Receipt" article referenced in source material, or confirm whether that content needs to be created.] for more information.
Assigning Authority OID
The object ID that identifies the system issuing your patient IDs. This value appears in the root attribute of RecordTarget > PatientRole > ID when Kno2 generates a CDA from unstructured content. A default value is assigned when your Kno2 instance is created, but it should be updated to reflect your organization's specific OID to ensure patient IDs are unique and recognized by your system.
