How do I view and filter the appointment schedule in Barti?

Go to Appointments → Schedule to see a filterable list of all appointments across any date range. You can filter by status, appointment type, insurance, provider, and patient name, and update appointment statuses directly from this view.

Who this is for: All Barti users who manage or review patient appointments.


Steps

  1. In the main menu, click Appointments.

  2. Select Schedule from the submenu.

The schedule defaults to today's date. Use the date range picker to expand or change the range.


Filtering the schedule

Use the filter bar to narrow results. You can apply multiple filters at the same time.

How to use

Status

Click the All Statuses dropdown and select one or more: Unconfirmed, Confirmed, Checked In, In Progress, Complete, No Show, Canceled

Date Range

Set a start and end date using the date range picker

Patient Name

Type in the search box to filter by patient

Appointment Type

Select one or more appointment types (e.g., Comprehensive Exam, Contact Lens)

Insurance

Filter by insurance plan, or select No Insurance to see uninsured patients

Staff / Provider

Filter by one or more providers

Click Clear Filters to reset all filters at once.


Updating an appointment status from the schedule

You can update a status without opening the full appointment:

  1. Locate the appointment row in the schedule.

  2. Click the status dropdown in the Status column.

  3. Select the new status — it saves immediately.


Sorting and printing

  • Click any column header to sort the list by that column.

  • Click Print to export the current view. All active filters are applied to the printout.


What you'll see when it works

The schedule updates automatically as you apply filters. Only appointments matching your selected criteria appear in the list.
