Who this is for: All Barti users who manage appointments and online scheduling.
Why this happens
When you create an appointment internally, Barti removes that time slot from online availability only when a staff member is assigned to the appointment. If the staff member field is left blank, the slot stays open on the public booking page and patients can still request it.
How to fix it
Open the appointment that is missing a staff member.
Select the correct Staff / Provider from the dropdown.
Click Save.
The time slot is immediately removed from the staff member's online availability.
How to prevent it
Always select the correct staff member when creating or editing an appointment. This is the only step that removes the slot from online availability — saving the appointment without a staff member assigned will not close the slot.
