About
Pulse provides multiple reporting options that help you monitor and analyze the behavior of automation actions and Pulse activities. Reports are available for:
Notifications of the automation engine
Credits of the automation engine
Notifications of the Pulse activity
Reports for notifications of the automation engine
To open the report of a specific automation instance, click the calendar icon in the instances overview.
The report lists every notification that has been sent or is queued to be sent. If a notification runs on an interval, only the next queued notification is displayed.
The table includes detailed information such as:
Course full name
Subject
Template reference
Instance reference
Recipient’s full name
Time created
Scheduled time
Status
A blue information icon next to the subject opens a modal preview of the notification.
For an extensive overview of all notifications triggered by the automation engine, go to Site administration > Reports > Report builder > Custom reports, and open the custom report “Automation schedule instances”.
Reports for credits of the automation engine
To open the report of a specific automation instance, click the credits icon in the instances overview.
The report lists all credits that have been allocated or are queued for allocation. If the credits have an interval, only the next queued allocation is displayed.
The table includes:
Course full name
Recipient’s full name
Instance reference
Scheduled credits
Scheduled time
Allocated time
Status
Allocation method
For a complete overview of all credit allocations, go to Site administration > Reports > Report builder > Custom reports, and open “Credits allocations schedule report”.
Reports for the Pulse activities
To open the report of a Pulse activity, go to your Moodle course and navigate to Reports > Pulse reports. You will see a list of all Pulse activities in that course. Click "View report" or the activity name to open its report.
The report lists all enrolled users and shows how they were affected by the Pulse activity.
The table includes the following information:
First and last name
Last access to course
Invitation
Reaction
First reminder
Second reminder
Recurring reminder
Completion criteria
Note: Only sent notifications will be displayed in the table. Queued notifications will not be displayed.
