The tabs feature allows you to display additional content alongside the video in separate tabs.
When enabled, these tabs appear when:

Note: The available tabs may differ depending on your site administrator’s configuration and your Video Time plugin tier (Basic, Pro, or Premium).


Managing tab visibility

  • Displays the video only, without additional content.

  • Always shown first when tabs are enabled.


Watch tab

This tab displays the video only, without any additional content.

  • Always viewed first when tabs are enabled.


Information tab

  • Displays additional information added via the Information tab content field using Moodle’s standard text editor.

  • Default tab name: Information

  • The tab name can be customized via the Custom tab name field.


Block tab

  • Displays Moodle blocks associated with the activity.

  • Default tab name: Blocks

  • The tab name can be customized via the Custom tab name field.

Note: The position of blocks is controlled under the 'On this page' section.
The 'Where this block appears' section has no effect in this context.


Related activities tab

  • Displays the Moodle activities in the same section as the Video Time.

  • You can add custom instructions above the list using the Instructions for tab field.

  • Default tab name: Related activities

  • The tab name can be customized via the Custom tab name field.


Chat tab

  • Displays a live chat for participants with access to the activity.

  • Requires the Deft response block to be installed and configured.


Chapter tab (Pro only)

  • Displays video chapters, if they are configured in the Vimeo source.

  • The VideoJS player does not support this feature.

  • If no chapters are available, the tab may remain empty.


Transcript tab (Premium only)

  • Displays the video transcript, if it is configured in the Vimeo source.

  • The VideoJS player does not support this feature.

  • If no transcript is available, the tab may remain empty.

Note: When viewing the video next to tab content, you can drag the left border of the video to adjust the size ratio between the video and the tab content.
