After you’ve installed Video Time (Basic, Pro, or Premium), most features work right out of the box. However, to ensure the plugin behaves consistently across your Moodle site, it is recommended to review and configure the global settings.
These settings let you:
Define default behaviors for new Video Time activities.
Force specific settings site-wide, preventing changes at the activity level.
Configure the availability of specific features according to your needs

Video Time Basic
After installing Video Time Basic, you can configure the following:
Set the default tab size.
Decide whether to enable the experimental iframe player in the Moodle mobile app.
Decide which extensions should be available site-wide.
Control which tabs (e.g., Information, Block, Related Activities) are available and in which order they appear.
Set default embed options for locally hosted or YouTube videos.
Decide which settings to force or mark as advanced.
Set default embed options for Vimeo videos.
Decide which settings to force or mark as advanced.
Video Time Pro
With Video Time Pro, you gain access to additional playback and tracking controls:
Set default tracking behaviors.
Configure Vimeo-specific playback behaviors.
Decide which settings to force or mark as advanced.
Video Time Premium
With Video Time Premium, you unlock Vimeo integration and Preview Image Mode:
Add your Vimeo app credentials (Client ID and Secret).
Set default preview image mode settings.
Decide which settings to force or mark as advanced.
Connect your Vimeo account to enable direct video selection within Video Time activities.
