Manage source plugins

Configure and manage source plugins for Media Time.

About

To manage source plugins go to Site administration > Plugins > Admin tools > Media Time > Manage source plugins.

Here you find a table of all source plugins with their name, status, settings, and the option to uninstall. Source plugins included with the standard installation are Video Time resource, Vimeo, and Streamio.

Important: You need to enable at least one source plugin to make the creation of Media Time resources possible.


Available settings

  • Enable

    Quickly enable or disable a source plugin by clicking the eye icon.

  • Settings
    Click "Settings" to adjust the settings for each plugin source

  • Uninstall

    Click "Uninstall" to remove a source plugin.


Settings for Video Time resource

Set a default limit for file uploads.

  • Maximum size of file uploads – Select a file size


Settings for Streamio

Connect your Streamio account with Media Time.

  • Username – Streamio account user name

  • Password – Streamio account password

This allows you to select from your Stremio videos when adding a Media Time resource and to upload videos straight through Media Time to your Streamio account.


Settings for Ignite

Connect your Ignite account with Media Time

  • API key

    Ignite API key for administrative access that is created in the Ignite control panel.

  • Default categories

    Defines which Ignite categories are added by default when a video is uploaded.

  • Enabled drag and drop

    When active, dragging and dropping a video file into a Video Time activity uploads it to Ignite instead of Moodle, creating a linked resource in Media Time.


Settings for Vimeo folder

The Vimeo folder feature is available exclusively with our custom Enterprise solution. If you’re interested in this option, please contact us for more information.
