About

After installing and completing the initial configuration of the Consent Manager plugin, you can start creating policies for external content embedded in your Moodle site.

How to add you first policy with Consent Manager

  1. Create a new policy that will be used to control external content.

  2. Add a new external service, define the domains that belong to it, and assign the required policy to control loading of content from those domains.

Once this is set up, students are asked to agree to the policy before the external content is loaded.

Tip: Consent Manager comes with preconfigured external services for Vimeo, Google Maps, and YouTube. To use these services you only need to enable them and assign a policy, if required.
